Bowen and Needham released by Rush
Nov 17, 2024The Saskatchewan Rush have cut their training camp roster down to 26.
Jake Bowen, a 2nd round pick in 2023 and Marcus Needham, a 4th round pick in 2024 were both released to the free agent pool on Sunday. Bowen spent the 2023/24 season on the practice roster, but neither forwards have dressed in a regular season game.
Saskatchewan still has 26 players on the roster, needing to cut down to 25 by November 25th.
In the preseason, the Rush went 2-0 with wins over the Las Vegas Desert Dogs and Toronto Rock.
Next up, the Saskatchewan Rush will host weekend four of training camp presented by Motion Fitness in Saskatoon.
