Shanks signed as a UFA during the summer of 2024 after six seasons with Rochester and Halifax. At OSU, Shanks notched 123 points, with 83 goals and 40 assists, in 60-game collegiate careers. Over the course of his six seasons in the NLL, the Courtice, Ontario product has been to one championship, and accumulated 147 goals and 357 points in 90 combined regular season and playoff games. During the 23/24 season, Shanks was fifth out of all right-handed forwards with 62 assists, a career high.
