Career night for Keenan as Rush crush Desert Dogs

Friday night, the Saskatchewan Rush topped the Las Vegas Desert Dogs 17-5.

In the first quarter, Robert Church had a hat trick to lead the squad out to a 5-1 lead. Zach Manns and Mike Messenger had the other tallies. 

Clark Walter scored a pair in the second quarter as the Rush offensively dominated, jumping out to a 9-2 lead at recess. 

Manns and Ryan Keenan had the Rush's lone third quarter goals as the away team led 11-5 after 45 minutes. 

In the final frame, Nathaniel Kozevnikov had a hat trick and Cam Wengreniuk popped off for as Saskatchewan kept their foot on the pedal in a 17-5 win. 

Ryan Keenan finished with a career high 10-point night. Patrick Dodds was spectacular with seven assists. Goaltender Frank Scigliano made 38 saves in the win. 

Next up, the Saskatchewan Rush will face the Albany Firewolves on New Year's Eve.
