Church and Canada going for gold in Utica

Robert Church and Team Canada will begin their quest for another gold medal when they open up their 2024 World Lacrosse Box Championship tournament against England on Saturday. 

The 2024 Box Championships features 28 nations in the mens bracket and are set for September 20-29 in Utica, New York. Canada's roster features NLL stars such as Church, Dhane Smith and Jeff Teat. Team Canada's full roster can be found here.

A total of 73 National Lacrosse League players will compete in the tournament.

All 133 games of both the men’s and women’s competition will be streamed live on World Lacrosse TV with certain games in Canada only on TSN+

Canada will take on England on Saturday (Sept 21) at 3:30PM Sask time, Haudenosaunee on Sunday (Sept 22) at 2:00PM and the USA on Tuesday (Sept 24) at 6:00PM.

Since 2003, the results have been the same at all five previous tournaments with Canada winning gold, Haudenosaunee silver and USA with bronze.
