Haley and Church net hat tricks in Rush preseason win

Friday night in Oakville, the Saskatchewan Rush dumped the Las Vegas Desert Dogs 13-8 in the team's first preseason game of the year.  

Brock Haley scored the first two goals in the contest, with Robert Church scoring the next three for Saskatchewan as they led 5-3 after the opening quarter. 

Only one goal was scored in the second frame and it came out of the stick of Church. 

In the third, Marcus Needham, Brock Haley, Clark Walter and Matt Hossack all found the twine, putting the Rush up 10-5. 

Zach Manns, Josh Zawada and Levi Anderson sealed the deal scoring in the fourth quarter, leading the green machine to a Friday night win. 

At the dot, Jake Naso won 21 of 25 faceoffs. In goal, Thomas Kiazyk made 37 saves for the win.  

Next up, the Saskatchewan Rush will face the Toronto Rock at the TRAC tomorrow night. Faceoff is at 6PM Sask Time and fans can watch online here
