Jun 17, 2024

Saskatchewan Rush defender Bobby Kidd III has been named one of the 34 players who are attending the final USA training camp this week in Pennsylvania for the World Lacrosse Box Championships.

Born in Pensacola, Florida, the 25-year-old NLL veteran has 52 games under his belt to go along with 230 loose balls, 53 caused turnovers, 31 points and 29 blocked shots.

This training camp is being held in Whitehall, Pa, the final time the players are together before the WLBC. Head coach Regy Thorpe will select the final roster of 23 players who will compete in Utica, New York, from Sept. 20-29.

USA has captured the bronze medal at each of the five previous World Indoor Lacrosse Championships — 2003, 2007, 2011, 2015 and 2019.

The training camp roster includes 27 NLL players, including stars like Joe Resetarits, Tom Schreiber, Blaze Riorden and Jack Hannah.

USA opens their tournament against the Haudenosaunee on Friday, Sept 20.
