PREVIEW: Saskatchewan at Georgia (Mar 8)

Duluth, GA – The Saskatchewan Rush (9-3) and Georgia Swarm (7-4) will meet up at GAS South Arena on Saturday, March 8th.

The Rush are coming off a 9-7 loss against the Buffalo Bandits. Zach Manns led the way with four goals, adding to his team high of 56 points. Between the pipes, Frank Scigliano made 37 saves in the game, moving his season save percentage to .793.

The Rush could be without Isaac Ngyou, Matt Acchione and Robert Church, who all missed the game against Buffalo.

Cryptonite: Since moving to Saskatchewan, the Rush are 2-7 all-time against the Georgia Swarm, with a 1-5 record in GAS South Arena.

Georgia’s last outing was a 15-9 win over the Ottawa Black Bears. Lyle Thompson had three goals and three assists. He also leads the team with 63 points. Brett Dobson made 42 saves in the win, boasting season numbers of 11.40 GAA and .771 SV%.

Big 3: Lyle Thompson, Andrew Kew and Shayne Jackson have combined for 150 points over 11 games this season. 

Faceoff from Georgia is at 6:30PM Sask Time.
