
PREVIEW: Saskatchewan vs Calgary (Apr 4)
Mar 31, 2025Saskatoon, SK – The Saskatchewan Rush (11-4) and Calgary Roughnecks (7-8) will meet up at SaskTel Centre on Friday, April 4th at 7PM.
The Rush are coming off a 17-12 win over the Colorado Mammoth on Co-op Field. Austin Shanks scored six times and had a ten-point game, while captain Ryan Keenan added five goals and a pair of assists. Zach Manns still leads the Rush with 65 points in 15 games, while goaltender Frank Scigliano has a 9.95 goals against average and a .787 save percentage.
Part Deux: The Battle of the Prairies part two takes place in Saskatchewan, where the Rush are 5-2 this season and 8-4 all time against the Roughnecks.
Calgary’s last outing was a 16-12 loss against the San Diego Seals, where Tanner Cook, Dane Dobbie and Jesse King all tallied five points each. Curtis Dickson leads the Riggers with 93 points in 15 games this season, while Nick Rose has posted a 12.52 goals against average and .770 save percentage.
Rose Knows: Nick Rose, now a member of the Calgary Roughnecks, is 4-0 in his last four starts against the Saskatchewan Rush, dating back to February 1st, 2019.
