PREVIEW: Saskatchewan vs Colorado (Apr 13)

Denver, CO – The Saskatchewan Rush (11-5) and Colorado Mammoth (8-8) will meet up at Ball Arena on Sunday, April 13th at 2PM. 

The Rush are coming off a 10-6 loss against the Calgary Roughnecks on Co-op Field. Robert Church had a hat trick while Austin Shanks scored twice in the loss. Frank Scigliano made 37 saves in the contest. Zach Manns currently leads the Rush with 67 points this season.

Mile High Rematch: Saskatchewan and Colorado met on March 29th in the prairies, where the Rush topped the Mammoth 17-12 thanks to a double hat trick from Austin Shanks.

Colorado’s last outing was a 15-10 loss against the Buffalo Bandits. Ryan Lee and Will Malcom both had hat tricks, while Dillon Ward stopped 44/58 against the defending champs on home turf. Ryan Lee leads the Mammoth with 88 points this season. 

Sock Stopper: Ryan Lee had a sock trick, scoring six goals on Frank Scigliano back on March 29th.

Faceoff from Denver is at 2:00PM Sask Time. You can listen to the full game, starting with the pre-game show on 92.9FM The Bull (Saskatoon), Magic 97.1FM (Swift Current), CJ1150 (Estevan), CJYM 1330AM (Rosetown) and CFYM 1210AM (Kindersley) with Cody Janzen at 1:45PM. The Saskatchewan Rush are back on Co-op Field in a couple of weeks when the Ottawa Black Bears come to SaskTel Centre for a 7:00PM start on Saturday, April 19th.
