PREVIEW: SASKATCHEWAN VS LAS VEGAS (NOV.15)
Nov 14, 2024Oakville, ON – The Saskatchewan Rush will open their preseason slate against the Las Vegas Desert Dogs on Friday night.
Entering weekend three of training camp presented by Motion Fitness, the Rush will bring a roster of 28 players to Oakville after Derek Keenan released nine players following the Fan Fest Showcase Game. This will be the first exhibition game for 2023 first-round pick Levi Anderson and 2024 first-round pick Matt Acchione.
Rookie Of The Year?: Inside Lacrosse released their ten names to watch for the NLL’s Rookie Of The Year award, which features Rush members Brock Haley and Levi Anderson.
Las Vegas has played one preseason game so far, falling 11-10 against the San Diego Seals in California. In the offseason, the Dogs, who relocated to Henderson, added Jon Donville, Shane Simpson, Kyle Killen, Dylan Kinnear and goaltender Justin Geddie.
Jack Attack: In three games against Saskatchewan, Jack Hannah has four goals and nine assists.
