PREVIEW: Saskatchewan VS Toronto (Apr.20)

Saskatoon, SK – The Saskatchewan Rush need a win to keep their playoff hopes alive when they host the Toronto Rock on Co-op Field at SaskTel Centre on Saturday. 

Saskatchewan is coming off a 13-8 win over the San Diego Seals. Zach Manns scored five goals in the win, while Ryan Keenan and Clark Walter added a pair. Frank Scigliano made 40 saves against his former team in the win. Church leads the team in goals and assists this season with 43 and 54 respectively. 

Table Turner: In July, the Saskatchewan Rush aquired star forward Zach Manns, consistent defender Adam Jay and a first round pick that ended up being steal of the draft, Levi Anderson, from the Toronto Rock. 

Toronto downed Rochester 13-6 in Hamilton thanks to a ten goal first half. The Rock got five-point performances from Mark Matthews, Corey Small, Challon Rogers and Tom Schreiber, while Chris Boushy scored four goals. Nick Rose stopped 44/50 for the win. Small leads the Rock with 37 goals, while Matthews leads the way with 63 assists.

Rush Reunion: Former Rush players Mark Matthews, Chris Corbeil, Corey Small and Dan Lintner will face their old squad this weekend.
