Rush announce $10,000 Shoot To Win at home opener

Join Rush Nation at Co-op Field in SaskTel Centre on December 14th as Saskatchewan battles the Halifax Thunderbirds in our Home Opener presented by SaskTel.

 

These two teams have built up a rivalry over the past few years, meeting five times in the past four seasons. This offseason, Halifax’s second leading scorer, Austin Shanks, opted to leave the club in free agency, joining the Saskatchewan Rush after a career high 85-point season. Shanks will face his former team for the first time on the electric turf which is bound to be an exciting matchup. 

 

Don’t forget to pick up our drink special, a spiked hot chocolate or coffee that’s infused with candy cane liqueur and topped with whip cream! Rush Nation will also be able to enjoy green draft beer all season long thanks to our friends at Original 16. 

 

At the half, a few lucky fans will have the opportunity to walk home with $10,000 in a shoot to win contest presented by Play Now! The entertainment continues all night with a drumline performance inside SaskTel Centre.
