Mar 24, 2025

Saskatoon, SK - The Saskatchewan Rush have clinched a spot in the 2025 NLL Playoffs.

For the first time since 2019, the green machine is heading back to the dance after a 10-4 start to the season, currently holding the second seed in the standings.

This is the second fastest calendar date that Saskatchewan has clinched a playoff spot, with the record still being February 24th in 2018. Since moving to Saskatoon in 2016, the team has made the postseason four times, winning two championships.

The Rush currently have a 4-2 record at home and a 6-2 record on the road, while averaging the least amount of penalty minutes in the league (8.1), having the 2nd best penalty kill in the league (63%) and allowing the 2nd least goals per game (10.29).

Individual wise, Matt Hossack currently leads all NLL players in caused turnovers with 28, Frank Scigliano tops all goalies with a 9.78 goals against average, Brock Haley is 4th in rookie scoring with 35 points, Jake Naso is 6th in faceoff win percentage (56%) and Jake Boudreau is 8th in loose balls with 125.

The first round of playoffs is a single elimination game, scheduled to take place between April 24-27th in the higher seed’s home arena. Tickets will go on sale when a home playoff date is confirmed.

Saskatchewan is back on Co-op Field this weekend when the Colorado Mammoth come to SaskTel Centre for a 7:00PM start on Saturday, March 29th.
