The Saskatchewan Rush have cut the roster down to 25.

Monday, the club released right-handed forward Nathaniel Kozevnikov to the free agent pool. The 26-year-old from British Columbia had 22 points in 16 games last season with the Rush.

Currently, the Rush have Robert Church, Austin Shanks, Mike Triolo, Brock Haley and Josh Zawada as right-handed forwards on the roster.

Forward Patrick Dodds was placed on the holdout list in September, while Cam Wengreniuk was placed on the protected player list in October. Saskatchewan still holds both player's NLL rights.

In the preseason, the Rush went 2-0 with wins over Las Vegas and Toronto.

Next up, the Saskatchewan Rush will host weekend four of training camp presented by Motion Fitness in Saskatoon.

On November 25th, Saskatchewan will have to submit a 21-man active roster and place up to four players on the practice roster.

Home opener is set for December 14th against the Halifax Thunderbirds! Get your tickets here!
