Rush spending three training camp weekends in Saskatchewan

Saskatoon, SK - The Saskatchewan Rush will be getting ready for the upcoming season on home soil!

 

Starting on November 1st, the Rush will kick off weekend one of training camp presented by Motion Fitness in Saskatoon. The team will take to the floor on Friday from 3-5PM, Saturday from 8-10AM and 4:15-6:15PM. All sessions will be hosted at Henk Ruys Soccer Centre and are free to attend. This will be your first opportunity to see newcomers like Austin Shanks, Levi Anderson, Brock Haley and Matt Acchione.

 

On Saturday, November 9th, Saskatchewan will host their first ever intra-squad game as a part of Fan Fest on Co-op Field! SaskTel Centre doors open at 1PM, the full four quarter game with music and more gets underway at 2PM, with a full team autograph session, BBQ and hot stove with Jimmy Quinlan and Derek Keenan to follow. Tickets must be purchased to attend and can be found here. All tickets are general admission seating. BBQ and hot stove add-ons will also be available for $10 with purchase of fan fest ticket.

 

Third weekend of training camp will feature two exhibition games in Oakville, Ontario. Friday, November 15th at 6PM Sask Time, the Rush will face off with the Las Vegas Desert Dogs. Saturday, November 16th at 5PM Sask Time, the green machine battles the Toronto Rock. Both games will be held at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre. 

 

Weekend four wraps up the regular season preparation as the team has two floor times in Saskatoon. Friday, November 22nd from 3:45-5:45PM will be held at Henk Ruys and is open to the public, while Saturday’s sessions at Gordie Howe Sports Complex will be behind closed doors.
