
Saskatchewan secures home playoff game
Mar 30, 2025Saskatoon, SK – The Saskatchewan Rush (11-4) have secured a home playoff game in round one of the National Lacrosse League playoffs.
After a huge 17-12 win over Colorado on Saturday night and a Georgia win over Halifax on Sunday, the green machine locked up a top four finish. The first round of playoffs is a one game elimination series, set to be played on a day between April 25-27th.
The last home playoff game inside SaskTel Centre was in 2019, when the Rush hosted the Western Conference semifinal.
Saskatchewan is 6-2 all time on home floor in the post season, with both championship wins in 2016 and 2018 ending on prairie soil.
Tied for first in the league, the Rush are 5-2 on Co-op Field this season, with a chance to reach a dozen wins on Friday when the Calgary Roughnecks come to town.
