What to Expect - Home Opener
Dec 6, 2023Get ready for a night to remember! We’re back at SaskTel Centre this Saturday to kick off our season at home against the Rochester Knighthawks presented by SaskTel.
There is plenty to get excited for both on and off the turf! Speaking of turf, in partnership with CO-OP we will be unveiling our brand new Co-op Field turf on Saturday. This will go nicely with our brand new uniforms you’ll see for the first time this season!
Pre-game: Stop by the Fan Experience Zone (FEZ) at the corner of 51st Street & Faithfull Ave. to pick up your season ticket member gifts and brand new team apparel prior to the game. Santa will be at the FEZ taking photos with all the good (& naughty!) Rush fans from 12-2pm and there will be prizes to be won!
At the game: We want you to make noise Rush Nation! The first 3000 fans in the building on Saturday night will receive thundersticks and a Rush magnet schedule. Not only that, starting the minute the doors open at 5:30pm, happy hour is on! $6 Beer, $6 Hotdogs and $7 Pizza will be on special until 6:30 pm. Country artist Darryl Anderson will be playing in the Original 16 lounge exclusively for our season ticket members pregame, halftime and post-game!
On the concourse, Santa will be visiting from the North Pole to get a photo with all the Rush fans! There will also be a performance by the Amazing Chin Balancer Kevin Shiflett at halftime. This is something you will have to see to believe!
Make sure to purchase your 50/50 tickets online or at the game, the total jackpot is starting at $50,000 presented by Dakota Dunes! Proceeds from the 50/50 will be benefitting the Saskatchewan Lacrosse Association.
Following the game, new Captain Ryan Keenan, Robert Church, Clark Walter, Laine Hruska, and Mike Triolo will be signing autographs on the turf. You’ll need your wristband to get on the field and you can pick one ip for free at the Saskatchewan Lacrosse Association table on the concourse by section G.
