What to Expect - Marvel Super Hero Night!
Feb 22, 2024Assemble Rush Nation! Join us at SaskTel Centre on Saturday for Marvel™ Super Hero Night as your Saskatchewan Rush face off against the Halifax Thunderbirds presented by NexGen Energy.
Before the game: Beat the lines and get all the gear you’ll need at the Fan Experience Zone (FEZ) at the corner of 51st Street & Faithfull Avenue. The FEZ will be open 12:00pm – 5:00pm. The limited edition Rush x Marvel jerseys will be available for auction starting at noon on Saturday, make sure to get your bid in for your favorite player!
At the game: Like always, arrive early, doors will open at 6:00pm! The first 3000 people in the building will receive their very own Rush Marvel Comic Book! Make sure to visit the O16 lounge pregame to enter the draw for a special Rush Hulk jersey! The O16 Lounge band for this game is local artists Kings & Renegades. Enjoy live music pre-game, during half-time, and post-game in the O16 Lounge!
Assemble your best and dress up as your favourite Marvel super hero for a chance to win prizes all night long!
On the concourse: Didn’t get a chance to dress up? We’ve got face painting set up on the concourse so your true identity will remain hidden. Don’t forget to check out the pre-game show to hear from our broadcast team as they set the scene for the game on the field and visit the team store to check out the best team apparel in the NLL! Get a photo with one of our game day characters like the Hulk, Rowdy, Bruiser, or the always super O16 Electric Crew Dance Team Members.
Halftime: First up is the Lil’ Sparks! Over 100 little dancers will be joining the Original 16 Electric Crew on the turf for an upbeat performance. Following that, the one and only Super Dogs will be flying through the air just like Iron Man! Don’t miss out!
On the field: The Rush are thrilled to get back on the field after another bye week following a battle in Vancouver as they laid down the hammer against the Warriors winning 13-9. The visiting Halifax Thunderbirds will are coming off a 1-1 weekend after losing to the Calgary Roughnecks.
Post Game: Following the game, head up to the O16 Lounge to chillax and watch the live post-game show. You’ll have to be in attendance post game to win the special edition jersey! Hear from players and coaches following the game while enjoying the bar. After that, you can head down to the field to meet your heroes the Original 16 Electric Crew who will be signing autographs. Make sure to get your free wristband at the Saskatchewan Lacrosse Association table on the concourse by Section G. Unless you’re a President’s Club Season Ticket Member, then just show your ticket to get on the field.
