WHAT TO EXPECT: RUSH VS PCLC
Jan 31, 2024Raise your steins Rush Nation it’s Febtober Fest! Join us at SaskTel Centre on February 3rd as your Saskatchewan Rush take on Panther City presented by Cherry Insurance.
Before the game: Beat the lines and get all the gear you’ll need at the Fan Experience Zone (FEZ) at the corner of 51st Street & Faithfull Avenue. The FEZ will be open 12:00pm – 5:00pm.
At the game: Like always, arrive early! Doors open at 5:30pm and the first 1000 people in the building will receive their very own Rush stein. Competitive Eating World Champion Joey Chestnut will be signing autographs in the O16 Lounge from 5:30-6:30pm. After meeting the champ, you can head down to concourse for $2 hotdogs and $5 beer all night long! The O16 Lounge band for this game is local artists Leatherdale & Dennis. Enjoy live music pre-game, during half-time, and post-game in the O16 Lounge!
On the concourse: It’s like Oktoberfest but in February! The Concordia Junior Alpenrose Dancers and the Concordia Alpenrose Schuhplattler Verein will be dancing for fans at X/Y lobby. Don’t forget to check out the pre-game show to hear from our broadcast team as they set the scene for the game on the field and visit the team store to check out the best team apparel in the NLL! Get a photo with one of our game day characters like the Hulk, Rowdy, Bruiser, or the always fabulous O16 Electric Crew Dance Team Members.
Halftime: Think you have what it takes to compete against Joey Chestnut? Lucky fans in attendance will have the chance to go up against Chestnut in a competitive mini-donut eating contest on the turf! This is one you won’t want to miss.
On the field: The Rush are excited to get back on the field after a bye week. They will be hosting 3-3 Panther City, former team of Patrick Dodds, Cam Wengreniuk, and Mike Triolo.
Post Game: Following the game, head up to the O16 Lounge to chillax and watch the live post-game show. Hear from players and coaches while enjoying the bar and waiting for the parking lot to clear out. After that, you can head down to the field to meet leading Rush scorer Jake Boudreau, Ryan Barnable, Jerrett Smith, Issac Ngyou, and Jeremy Searle who will be signing autographs. Don’t forget to grab your free wristband at the Saskatchewan Lacrosse Association table on the concourse by Section G. Unless you’re a President’s Club Season Ticket Member, then just show your ticket to get on the field.
