What to Expect - St. Patricks Day
Mar 14, 2024Happy St. Patrick’s Day Rush Nation! Join us at SaskTel Centre on Saturday as your Saskatchewan Rush face off against the New York Riptide for the first time presented by Tim Hortons.
Before the game: Beat the lines and get all the gear you’ll need at the Fan Experience Zone (FEZ) at the corner of 51st Street & Faithfull Avenue. The FEZ will be open 12:00pm – 5:00pm. We’ve got some new arrivals to check out in store!
At the game: Like always, arrive early, doors will open at 6:30pm! Drop off food donations outside by the main doors in support of the Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre.
The first 1000 people in the building will receive a light up shamrock necklace! Make sure to visit the O16 lounge pregame to enter the draw for a special Rush signed helmet! The O16 Lounge band for this game is local artists Hollywood Persuasion. Enjoy live music pre-game, during half-time, and post-game in the O16 Lounge! Bars close in the 4th Quarter but the O16 Lounge stays open for the post game party!
On the concourse: Feeling Lucky? There are lots of prizes to be won! Keep your eye on the Rush social channels to see where the Luck of the Irish scavenger hunt items are on the concourse! Make sure to visit the new apparel kiosks at sections E and M for the latest styles. Get a photo with one of our game day characters like the Hulk, Rowdy, Bruiser, or the always ready to party O16 Electric Crew Dance Team Members!
Halftime: We’ve got even more prizes to give away! Lucky fans in attendance will be chosen to play Let’s Make a Deal with a grand prize from PlayNow.com!
Following that, it’s time for Chuck-A-Duck! Grab a rubber duck at the Paradise Leisurescapes table at section C and get ready to chuck it onto the field for a chance to win a $500 gift card!
On the field: The Rush are itching to get back on the field following and overtime loss in Buffalo last weekend. The visiting New York Riptide are in town for the first time ever. The Rush look to shut down Jeff Teat who is currently leading the NLL in points.
Post Game: Following the game, head up to the O16 Lounge for the post game party featuring live music. You’ll have to be in attendance post game to win the signed team helmet! Hear from players and coaches following the game while enjoying the bar. After that, you can head down to the field to meet Ryan Keenan, Robert Church, Clark Walter, Laine Hruska, Mike Triolo and Frank Scigliano who will be signing autographs. Make sure to get your free wristband at the Saskatchewan Lacrosse Association table on the concourse by Section G. Unless you’re a President’s Club Season Ticket Member, then just show your ticket to get on the field.
